Maryland Maniacs tame the Wild 53-33

The Maniacs notch back-to-back victories against the Alaska Wild to improve to 2-2 on the season. Once again strong quarterback play and solid defense laid the foundation for the Maniacs first win at home this season.
Maniacs quarterback Michael Fitzgerald led the offense into the end zone almost at will, as the Wild had few answers for the balanced pass-run onslaught of the home team. The Maniacs were up 28-14 on the Wild at the end of the first half and never looked back.
The Maniacs next home game is May 2 when they take on Atlantic Division rival Rochester Raiders. All home games take place at 7:05pm and are played at the Showplace Arena in Upper Marlboro, MD. Tickets are available at the Showplace Arena or Ticketmaster locations. For more information about the team visit www.marylandmaniacs.com.
