District of Columbia: DeMatha Stags outrun the Knights for the City Title

The DeMatha Stags (29-3) got just what they needed from senior playmaker Naji Hibbert to defeat the Ballou Knights (19-7) for the City Championship. The win on Monday night marked DeMatha's fourth title in five years.
Ballou's Chris Mozee scored a career-high 21 points and the Knights were up in the third quarter, but Hibbert's fourth-quarter scoring performance sealed the Knight's fate. Hibbert hit 10 in the fourth.
The Stags won the WCAC title last weekend and have a shot at a third title at the Alhambra Catholic Invitational Tournament.
