James late heroics help Wizards edge T-Wolves

In the their first game back after the All-Star break, the Washington Wizards faced the hungry Minnesota Timberwolves. The Wizards and Timberwolves battled hard trading the lead eight times. After squandering a double-digit lead in the second half, Wizards guard Mike James late 3-pointers in the fourth sealed the team's 12th victory on the season. Once again, Antawn Jamison was solid with 29 points and 11 boards. Caron Butler finished with 17 points, six assists and five rebounds before banging his left hip and retreating to the locker room for treatment in on the final minute of the game.
Interim Head Coach Ed Tapscott credited key stops and critical rebounds in the Wizards stellar fourth quarter performance and come from behind victory. The Wizards will suit up Friday against Vince Carter and the New Jersey Nets (24-30). The Wizards next home game is Saturday Feb. 21 when they will match up against west coast rival San Antonio Spurs (35-17).
