Thousands flocked to RFK Stadium for family fun, giveaways, and great food. Local artists also showcased their talents as the friendly audience cheered them on. Musical prodigy Jazmine Sullivan performed her smash hit "Need U Bad" and later in the afternoon, Raphael Saadiq of Tony! Toni! Toné!, and R&B crooner Eric Benét, and the lovely and talented Tamia graced the stage. As dusk fell, legendary Go Go band, Rare Essence hit the stage making the 18th Annual Stone Soul Picnic one to remember.
