Mystics stop Dream, 72-61

Last Friday, the Washington Mystics outplayed the Atlanta Dream at the Verizon Center winning 72-61. Alana Beard (G) scored 18 points and pulled down 4 rebounds and Monique Currie (F) finished with 17 points and 8 boards.

The Mystics winning streak ended with a loss to the Phoenix Mercury on Tuesday, June 24. Taj McWilliams-Franklin (F) led the Mystics in scoring and rebounding with 31 points and 8 boards. The Mystics next chance a redeption will come Thursday, June 26 when they face off against the Los Angeles Sparks (10-3). The Mystics next home game is July 6 against the San Antonio Silver Stars (8-5).
