Mayor Adrian M. Fenty issued an Executive Order, temporarily suspending the enforcement of the District's regulations that require residents to have a basic business license for short-term rentals of residential property around Inauguration Day.
Four District hospitals instituted 100% tobacco-free campus policies last week, in honor of the American Cancer Society's Great American Smoke Out. The tobacco-free policies will now prohibit any use of tobacco products outside.
