Twilight star Robert Pattinson sheds his image as a brooding vampire to take on a more serious role in the new romantic drama, Remember Me, a film which Pattinson also co-produced.
Pattinson plays Tyler Hawkins, a 22-year-old New Yorker who has become disillusioned with life after the suicide of his older brother and the now growing friction in his relationship with his father.

Tim Burton's Alice and Wonderland is a sometimes sardonic, perpetually self-aware interpretation of Lewis Carroll's classic novels. The screenplay, written by Linda Woolverton, combines plot elements from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass And What Alice Found There with new components added to develop additional structure and motive within the plot, which puts a spin on the classic Alice story.

The atmosphere in Merrick Lecture Hall was one of excitement and anticipation as Augustin Hadelich, an up-and-coming presence in the classical world, stepped out from behind the curtain in Merrick Lecture Hall on Friday, February 19th.
Hadelich was chosen as the featured performer of the 24th Annual Janet and Avery Fisher Music Residency, as the winner of the 2009 Avery Fisher Career Grant.
